FAQ’s

  • Make sure you have set the permissions for the app to use the microphone.
  • Go to your device’s settings – make sure you allow reva access to the microphone (and camera)
  • In Freestyle mode, just tap record to start the first clip – then stop to conclude it. And then the record button again for the second clip and so on. You can record as many clips as you wish. Once you tap “done” you’ll be taken to the edit screen to review you clips and manage them
  • In the Assistant mode, each property area (circle) is a clip. So if you just follow the assistants recommendations you’ll get your video created as a sum of all recorded clips. Simple as that! Here you’ll also have a chance to edit once “done and continue” is tapped.
  • Go to the drafts section. The video clips are saved on the drafts folder and can be edited and processed/uploaded again.
  • Just tap the 3 dots and select “edit” from the menu. Repeat the necessary edition steps and save/publish the video again.
  • Make sure your internet coverage is good for better results

Videos in reva are organised in 4 different folders that can be found on top of the home page of reva:

  • My videos – videos or versions that you have created ◦ Shared with me – videos that other users have created and have “collaborated” with you – meaning that regardless being public or private videos, you have the ability to see it, share it or create version.
  • Public feed – videos set as public that are available for all reva users
  • Drafts – videos that you are creating and either opted to save as draft (to complete or upload at a later stage; or that have had an issue during saving or publishing and that are kept there until further action.
  • All draft videos – be it Saved as draft or videos that have had issues in the publishing processes can be found in the “Drafts” folder – next to the “public feed”
  • Once you’ve identified the draft video you want to publish, just select the quick tools (3 dots button) and choose: edit video (if you want to make updates and complete the process from there) or Publish (if you just want to upload the video to reva).
  • No. reva is dependant on an active internet connection. You need to be connected to data or wifi in order for the app to work properly.
  • Nonetheless, if you have already started recording a video and lose connection, you should be able to complete the process and save the video as draft. Once you are back online, you can finish the publishing process.
  • No. Versions are based on pre-existing videos that can have been previously shared with other customers or stakeholders.
  • On the edit screen – either before you save and publish a video or coming back to a previously recorded video from your “My videos” tab on the Gallery, you can use the bottom slider to opt for image or sound edition
  • On the sound edition you have the option to add music. You can select from a range of existing available songs.
  • Tip – add the music at the end – once you’ve made all your edits to the clips (reshuffling them or adding new for example)
  • The music will run “on top” of the clips and will replace any original sound that may have been recorded.
  • Text is added at a clip by clip basis. So the text you input will be present throughout the duration of the whole clip – so make sure you record your clips / or add your texts accordingly.
  • Make sure you select the appropriate clip from the clips timeline in the text pane.
  • You can add text in the edit screen, bottom slider “Edit image”. Here you’ll be able to select the type of font, the color of the text, if it has background/box (and which color to add to the box) and the alignment of the text (bottom, middle or top).
  • Depending on your device / Operating system, you may have to commit the inputted text by selecting “OK” on your device’s keyboard.
  • Tags are a very simple and effective way to classify and identify your clips. They are often used to name the area of the property that the clip refers to.
  • Tags can be inputted clip by clip in the Edit screen > Edit image (bottom slider) > tags
  • If you use the assistant, tags are automatically assigned to the clips according to the area selected – they of course can be changed in the edit screen as well.
  • Deleting a video removes the video from your Gallery and also makes it unavailable for all other users AND to end-customers that may have received the video landing page link.
  • So, be sure you really want to delete a video before you do so.
  • You have alternatives to make the video active/inactive that you can change at any time – swipe left on the video in list mode).
  • Reva is based on ip-app purchases from your appStore / Play Store account
  • So you can manage reva’s subscription from your store account
  • The user is either not registered in reva or has a private profile.
  • Reach out to him and encourage him to make the profile public (profile settings) so you can all benefit from the collaboration engine capabilities
  • If the video is public, it will show up on the public feed.
  • Just use search (by his name for example) or sort capabilities to narrow down the option in the public feed
  • Maybe the video is not public and your colleague has “collaborated” the video with you. In these cases go to the “shared with me” folder to find all collaborated videos. You can also find the notifications of collaborated videos in the messages section (bottom menu)
  • Make sure your profile details are correctly filled in.
  • Phone numbers must respect the “+country-code phone-number” format in order to properly link with WhatsApp or Text messages
  • You can update your profile by selecting Account > Profile detail from the bottom bar menu

There are several videos that are not meant to show up in the Public feed. Check out the reasons below:

  • Was this video marked as private? If so it only shows up in your “My videos” tab. If you want to make it public: edit video > “Save” > mark it as public and “Save and Publish”
  • Make sure your profile is public – private profiles never have public videos
  • Have you set your video to inactive? Videos can be set as “inactive” so that they are not playable on the video landing page nor on the Public feed. You can change this setting on the Gallery > My videos.
  • Is it a version? Versions are meant to be private and support 1-2-1 communication with your potential customers. Versions never show up on the public feed.
  • A public video is a video that shows up in the public feed of reva. This means that any reva user can see it and create versions over it.
  • A private video is only available in your My videos folder. Nonetheless, you can opt to collaborate private videos. This way, you and your colleagues can see private collaborated videos and create versions from it.
  • Both public and private videos are sharable with end customers via the video landing page.
